Hurricane Irma stormed over Florida, knocking out power to over a half a million people and causing the largest evacuation due to a natural disaster of 6.3 million people. The devastation is real; however, there is still a lot to do to recover from this powerful beast. If you are wanting to join the relief efforts associated with Hurricane Irma, Relief List has created a Hurricane Irma Relief Fund platform that connects those who are willing to donate their time, goods, and money to trusted relief organizations throughout Florida.

Hurricane Irma Relief Fund

There are three primary needs asked for in our Hurricane Irma Relief Fund… The donation of  goods, money, and time.

Donate Goods

The donation of goods, such as cleaning supplies, food, water, clothing, bedding, furniture, etc., will greatly support the Hurricane Irma Relief Fund and recovery of impacted communities. As various Hurricane Irma Relief Funds begin, these donations will sustain those impacted by the recent category 4 Hurricane Irma.

Donate Money

In addition to the donation of goods, Hurricane Irma Relief Funds are seeking individuals or business to make financial donations. If you are located out of the state of Florida and cannot volunteer much time, it is recommended that you make a monetary donation instead of donating goods. When a storm hits a large area and causes severe damage, the local economy takes a significant hit. Instead of driving goods down from other local economies, it is best to purchase the supplies locally. If you’re interested in donating, click here to learn more about out Hurricane Irma partners.
